Developing personalised and adaptive learning systems is one of the major focus in modern education landscape. AI could be used to make this process much more easier. These systems will use algorithms to analyze students' learning patterns and provide personalized recommendations and content based on best available evidence, student’s strengths, weaknesses and preferences. By tailoring the learning experience to each student's unique circumstances, adaptive learning systems can not only enhance the engagement of the students, but also their retention.

A Major problem in developing personalised education systems is the inability to focus on each student separately. But with the advancement of AI, students can be trained to effectively leverage AI to simplify the things they find hard to understand, effectively extract information from books with AI tools that enable for the users to chat with books, and create learning tools such as mindmaps and flash cards.

Teachers' feedback is often limited due to time constraints, and in certain situations, it can be subjective to their personal opinions. But now we can use  AI-powered assessment to automate grading and provide more reliable and descriptive feedback instantly to students. These tools can analyze written responses, essays, and other assignments, freeing up teachers' time to focus on more meaningful aspects of teaching, such as providing personalized support and instructions. By automating routine tasks, AI assessment tools can help teachers be more efficient and effective in their roles.

In the era of Artificial Intelligence (AI), the role of teachers is undergoing a significant transformation. Traditionally, teachers are the primary source of knowledge and instruction in the classroom, responsible for delivering lectures, assigning homework, and assessing student performance. However, as the technology advanced, more effective modes of knowledge was available in the recent past. But the teachers still remained the main source of knowledge distribution due to the lack of engagement and interactivity of online sources. However, with the advent of AI, much of this content delivery can now be automated through online courses, educational videos, and interactive learning platforms. As a result, teachers are shifting away from being the sole providers of information. Instead, they must become the facilitators of learning experiences.

Despite the growing role of AI in delivering information effectively, the importance of human skills and emotional intelligence are very important. Although AI can automate the lessons, it cannot replace the human connection and empathy that teachers bring to the classroom. Teachers are trained (if not must be) to inspire, motivate, and support students in their learning journey, fostering creativity, critical thinking, and collaboration.

Among all the fields, education sector as well must take the full advantage of this, by focusing on what really matters. The true purpose is not maintaining traditions alive, but helping students reach their full potential. Achieving that aim requires providing the optimum support with the best available resources. Therefore, without considering AI a bad thing, new education systems must focus on using AI effectively to improve the quality of life. But we must always make sure to stay within ethical limits so that one is not unfairly benefitted over others.
